"Da fehlen mir die Worte" ist ein Übungsbuch für fortgeschrittene Lerner des Deutschen als Fremdsprache (Sprachniveau B1 bis C2), die ihren Wortschatz effektiv erweitern und vertiefen wollen. Das Buch basiert auf der Methode "Wortschatzlernen mit Struktur", mit der Lernende anhand verschiedener Regeln und Strukturen des deutschen Wortschatzes ihren Auf- und Ausbauwortschatz zielgerichtet erweitern können.Die Kapitel 1 (Bedeutung) und 2 (Sachgruppen) festigen den Grundwortschatz und enthalten Methoden zum Erwerb eines soliden Aufbauwortschatzes. Mit der Arbeit an diesen beiden Kapiteln kann bereits ab Sprachniveau B1 begonnen werden.Die Kapitel 3 (Synonyme), 4 (Antonyme), 5 (Homonyme), 6 (Wortfamilien) und 7 (Komposition) sind für Lernende ab Sprachniveau B2 geeignet. Hier wird der Wortschatz durch verschiedene Strukturen und Strukturregeln erweitert und mit der Arbeit an stilistischen Fragen begonnen.

Die Kapitel 8 (Kollokationen), 9 (Idiomatik) und 10 (Etymologie) beschäftigen sich mit weiterführenden Stilfragen. Welche Wörter werden in welchem Zusammenhang gemeinsam verwendet? Wie vermeide ich Stilbrüche? Die Arbeit mit diesen Kapiteln wird für die Sprachniveaus C1 und C2 empfohlen.
"Da fehlen mir die Worte" ist als Grundlage für den Wortschatzunterricht und für das Selbststudium geeignet.
